Universal Fuel Filter (Lantern Style), 131-261-275A per EACH
These inexpensive "Lantern Style" fuel filters are good for your VW Bug. We typically use more than one, one under the fuel tank as a Pre-Filter, and one next to the transaxle. Do NOT put these in the engine compartment, the fire hazard is too great! The best locations for a fuel filter are beneath the fuel tank (between the tank and chassis), and again next to the transaxle (between the chassis and engine)These filters use a stepped inlet and outlet, fitting both 5mm and 7mm hoses. Many owners use these to change the side of the fuel hose up or down, since the original carbed cars are 5mm, and most Weber and Dellorto carbs are 7mm.

Fuel Filler Neck Hose Inner Seal, 1968+ Type 1 and 3, per EACH, 113-201-215
Price: $2.95 Item eligible for Econo/1st Class Mail shipment, min ship charge applies
Fuel Filler Neck Hose Inner Seal, 1968+ Type 1 and 3, 113-201-215 is used between the tank or filler neck, and the filler hose. Basicaly a big rubber band, it ensures the seal and a little bit of "movement" without leaking. How many of these you need depends on the year and model of your car. You need one of these at every location where you have a clamp. Some cars use a long filler hose from filler to tank, those need TWO. Some use an intermediate steel filler neck with 2 shorter filler hoses, these need 4 Inner Seals. Look at your filler hose to see if you have 2 or 4 junctions to seal up.

Hose Barb Fitting, (for 5mm hose) with 3/8" NPT, Each is used to adapt fuel tanks, shut off valves to a more secure fitting than pressed in barbs. You can even use these to convert carbs to a secure threaded barb instead of one that can wiggle loose! This is typically used on engines with 1 solex carb, with 5mm fuel hose.
Unfortunately, a metric fitting with American threads (which is needed to fit an American-made regulator) does not exist, so this is the closest match that will work for 5mm fuel hose. It will be a tight fit because the barb is closer to 6mm.

Universal Fuel Filter, Metal Casing, EACH, 33031
Universal Fuel Filter, Metal Casing, EACH, 33031 are good for your VW. We typically use more than one, one under the fuel tank as a Pre-Filter, and one next to the transaxle. Metal cased filters do not have the fire hazard the plastic ones do! Do NOT put these in the engine compartment, the filter will heat up the fuel too much and you risk vapor lock! The best locations for a fuel filter are beneath the fuel tank (between the tank and chassis), and a 2nd one next to the transaxle (between the chassis and engine)These filters use the same size inlet and outlet, and best fit 7mm fuel hose, but you can use a 5mm hose, it's just very tight. Note that the original carbed cars are 5mm, and most Weber and Dellorto carbs are 7mm.

5mm Fuel Hose, 5.0 X 2.5mm, per meter
5mm Fuel Hose, 5.0 X 2.5mm is the best carbureted fuel hose in our opinion. This is braided for abrasion resistance, and has a cloth braid covering, that is easy to grip to put the hose on and off. The covering also looks "new" far longer. 5mm hose is the proper size for stock carburetors. Hose clamps are not even needed, because the cloth woven on the hose surface acts like a "Chinese finger trap", and keeps the hose tight on the fitting. Some owners choose to err on the side of caution and use clamps also. Price is for a meter of hose.

Steel Fuel Line, Engine Compartment, 1966-74 Type 1s, and 1950-71 Type 2s, 113-127-521A picks up the fuel hose from the tunnel exit at the frame horns, and routes over the left side heat exchanger. Fuel hose and clamps attach the tube at both ends. This connects the flexible hose that comes out of the chassis, to the engine itself. It extends safely through the firewall tin (through a grommet), and to the fuel pump, where there is another short section of flexible fuel hose (5mm). Stock fuel pumps and the steel fuel line are compatible with 5mm fuel hose.

Dual Carburetor Access Panel, 5 INCH opening, EACH
Dual Carburetor Access Panel, Each is the perfect, inexpensive, and rust-proof solution to accessing the outsides of dual carburetors in confining engine compartments, such as early VW Beetles. Installs easily to any flat surface with bolts or rivets (screws is tacky, and leaves "knuckle eaters" that could also damage tail light wiring!). Simply figure out the center of your hole, trace the outline of the cutout, remeasure (un-cutting is especially difficult), cut and trim, the secure the way you prefer! The actual "cap" is threaded and spins in and out, it's leak and rust proof! You need 2 of these to do a pair of dual carbs. THESE ARE NOW 5 INCHES IN DIAMETER (prior to 2017, the panels we sold were a smaller 4" size, but customer feedback suggested that larger ports would be even more convenient).
