4340 Forged Chromoly Super Race Type 4 Crankshaft, 76mm Stroke, 2.0L Type 4 Rod Journals, 004-4376 is a high quality stroker crank for the Type 4 engine. Get a bunch more GRUNT with the extra swing of this 76mm crank, 5mm more stroke than the 2.0L! If you are building a performance Type 4, these are THE way to go since type 4 crankshaft cores are so expensive and risky to use due to cracks in 30yo cranks!

This crankshaft is made from 4340 Forged Chromoly, the next best crankshaft is well over $1400! Crankshaft counter weights prevent the crankshaft from flexing into something that isn't straight. This crankshaft will rev as fast as your connecting rods and pistons will allow! The 76mm stroke is 5mm more than the 2.0L!This crank works best with stock 2.0L length rods of 5.158", either rebuilt I-beams or 4340 H-beams.

This is a new crankshaft, so both Main and Rod Journals are STANDARD.

This kit includes a 36hp Doghouse Fan Shroud, Hoover Bit, (2) SCAT Cylinder Tins, (2) Valve Covers with vents for 1/2" slip-on hose, (2) Valve Cover Bails, (2) Cool Tins (Beneath cylinders and heads), Cooler Ducts, Rear Tin, Pulley Tin, Firewall Tin, and Gen/Alt Backing Plates, all powder coated semi-gloss black

The shroud includes a "Venturi Ring" is a radiused inlet to the cooling fan, which increases fan efficiency. Tests have shown a 10% increase in air flow (cooler running!) with no other changes. The Venturi Ring was introduced on the factory shrouds in the mid 70s as emissions caused the engines to run a lot hotter, and the inclusion of this part helped combat the rising engine temperatures.

Tri-Mil Street Sidewinder Header and Muffler, Without Heater Boxes (Includes J-pipes!), 1 5/8" Tubing, 1019 gets rid of heavy heater boxes, gains ground clearance, and clears dual carbs too! Quiet Pack muffler is for guys that are sick of the noise and DRONE! This offers great ground clearance for all cars, and a nice compact exhaust system that fits underneath all the bodywork. This is for the header AND the muffler! This system is made with 1-1/2" 16 gauge mild steel, 5/16" thick flanges, and is MIG welded on a jig, then test fit to ensure optimum quality and performance.

This header is an incredible value for those that don't have the money for a hand made A-1 Exhaust! Not as many options as the A-1 version, but look at the value!

Remember that Exhaust Tubing is measured on the OUTSIDE (Not Inside), stock is 1 1/4". A decent guideline is to run 1 3/8" for up to 90hp, 1 1/2" from 90-140hp, and 1 5/8" from 140-200hp. The Cylinder 1 and 3 J-pipes are INCLUDED with this header.

This kit does NOT include clamps not mounting nuts. It does include gaskets, but the gaskets are of poor quality, so we strongly recommend you get some premium gaskets at the same time, so you don't have to replace blown out gaskets a week after installation!

Glass Pack has a great tone, between a stinger and quiet pack! This offers great ground clearance for off road cars, and a nice compact exhaust system that fits behind an engine cage if you use one. This is for the header AND the muffler! This system is made with 1-1/2" 16 gauge mild steel, mig welded and test fit to ensure optimum quality and performance.

This system does come with exhaust gaskets, but they are really poor quality! We strongly suggest getting some gaskets in addition to this system, so you will be installing it with some quality gaskets and only have to do the job once!

VW Sedan & Bus Street Header, 1966-74 1300-1600cc Based Engines are an economical choice for a Street Header system. The 1 3/8" size is what you should use on stock size valve heads. These systems are good to about 110hp before becoming too restrictive. These headers use stock heater boxes or replacement J-pipes on stock style engines.

If you choose the black/raw one, it is HIGHLY SUGGESTED that you remove the paint on the exhaust and paint it with some POR-20 (silver, black, or gray) that won't flake off. Obviously the ceramic and stainless steel versions do not have this issue.

ACN's preferred muffler for mild street cars! This muffler is placed just outboard of your 1/2 valve cover, the tailpipe exits at the lower lip of the right fender. Muffler support hangs from heater box mounting nut on 1/2 cylinder head. You do have to remove the muffler to adjust your valves, but it IS worth the effort.

This muffler is very quiet and non-restrictive! Our only complaint is if you drive or park on dirt or gravel, the downward facing exhaust exit will raise dust off the ground, which isn't a problem if you are driving forwards, but if you back up it winds up on your car and in your air filters!

OTHER THAN THAT, this is an outstanding muffler choice for mild street cars with the 1 1/2 and 1 5/8" SMALL FLANGED merged headers. The dust issue is not a problem for folks that drive only on concrete and paved roads

This muffler features a free flowing "Turbo" muffler, along with precision mandrel bent large ID Tubing. Comes with mounting hardware.
