Fuel Filler Neck Hose Inner Seal, 1968+ Type 1 and 3, 113-201-215 is used between the tank or filler neck, and the filler hose. Basicaly a big rubber band, it ensures the seal and a little bit of "movement" without leaking.

How many of these you need depends on the year and model of your car. You need one of these at every location where you have a clamp. Some cars use a long filler hose from filler to tank, those need TWO. Some use an intermediate steel filler neck with 2 shorter filler hoses, these need 4 Inner Seals. Look at your filler hose to see if you have 2 or 4 junctions to seal up.

5mm hose is the proper size for stock carburetors. Hose clamps are not even needed, because the cloth woven on the hose surface acts like a "Chinese finger trap", and keeps the hose tight on the fitting. Some owners choose to err on the side of caution and use clamps also.

This is used on Type 1s where the fuel tank had no provisions for a fuel tank level sending unit, this unit retains a gallon or so of fuel in the tank in case of emergency. These are very restrictive, so they should be REMOVED in performance applications where you have more than 120hp. more info
