Distributor Points and Input Shaft Bearing Grease, 3oz, 22058 is a great high temp grease to use on the distributor cam lobes, where the rubbing block of the points rubs against. This location is often dry, resulting in "squeaky" points operation.
This high temperature grease won't fly out onto your points like Vaseline, or other greases! STICKY to stay on the distributor shaft and centrifugal advance mechanism.
This is also EXCELLENT for the needle bearings for your transmission input shaft, it's usually inside the engine's gland nut. You should put some of this on the point lobe every 3k miles. This is also GREAT for input shaft and throw out bearings (inside the gland nut or flywheel), since it won't get hot and then fly out onto your clutch! Also used for generator or alternator bearings. This is a must for your garage.

SCAT Chromoly Gland Nut & Washer +.250" Longer Than Stock, 1 1/2" Head, 60026 is a fantastic Gland Nut that uses a stock 36mm Head Socket. Super strong 4340 Chromoly steel billet that is precision machined on CNC equipment. Comes with OEM style pilot shaft bearing for long life. This gland nut has a thicker cross section for added strength, and the larger than stock bolt head gives maximum surface area and even clamping pressure on the flywheel when tightening. We torque these to 400lb/ft.
This part is NOT used on normal Type 1 engines! This Gland Nut is designed to be used with either
2000 (year) and earlier SCAT Cranks or SCAT BILLET Crankshafts (the extra length is used to strengthen the thread hold)
If you wonder if you have one of these, you don't (you would know if you did). If you try to use this on with a normal crank and flywheel, the gland nut bottoms out the threads before the flywheel is tight, and you have serious problems!

200mm Kennedy Engineering Racing Pressure Plates are built from BRAND NEW parts, not from cores! These are available to fit both early and late style volkswagen transaxles. The race-quality units are balanced to within .4oz/inch. They are 100% load tested adn assembled on a jig for consistent quality. The clutch contact face is high tensile cast iron alloy for strength and stability.Choose from 4 different pressures for a variety of applications. 1700lb/Stage 1 will handle almost any street VW, these will handle 180lb/ft of torque. 2100/Stage 2 works great in applications where the driver is determined to either win or break something; these will handle 220lb/ft of torque. 2600lb/Stage 3 will hold 260lb/ft of torque (no VW does this unless it's boosted/NOS). 3000lb/Stage 4 holds 300lbs/ft, they grenade VW Transaxles. KEP Pressure plates are the best clutches to use on your volkswagen beetle, for your sand car, dune buggy, or your hot street car. They work great for vw busses too! For reference, my beetle runs mid 11s in the 1/4 mile and I run a Stage 1 so I'm not changing transaxles every dozen passes! "Early" are Transaxles up to 1970, they are identified with the throwout bearing that has clips that fall out. "Late" are for 1971 and newer, the clips are built into the T/O bearing. We prefer the late style, the bearing slides on a collar and is more stable and less prone to trouble!
