They have a little weight and spring arrangement, when you hit the rev limit the weight swings out and grounds out the spark! We have them in 4500, 5400, 5800, 6500, 6600, 6800, and 7100 RPM Limits.

It sits between the distributor body and cap, and has the hole JUST big enough for the rotor. This does NOT fit with points replacement devices, like Pertronix, Compufire, Accufire, Compu-tronix, Hot Spark, Crane, etc.
