Chrome Mag Wheel Lug Nut & Stud, 14mm, Set of 4 is a set of 4 Mag Wheel Lug Nuts (Straight Shank), washers, and screw in studs. These wheel nuts have a shank that slips into some aftermarket wheels.

We have taken the time to measure the nuts and studs. The shank on the wheel nut is .700" diameter and .750" Long, so your wheel must be wider than this to not bottom out the nut on the drum before the wheel is tight. Use a 13/16" Wheel Wrench with these wheel nuts. The Studs adapt from the stock 1968+ 14mm thread to a 1/2" x 7/8" which matches the wheel nuts.

These aircraft quality studs feature a head chamfer for brake shoe clearance, and a starting shoulder for nut alignment and thread protection. These are a little longer then needed, the Tech Inspectors at the track LOVE seeing a little extra thread on the studs! Drill the drum or hub to 37/64", then they press right in!

We strongly recommend that you "Spot Face" the brake shoe side of the drum, FLAT, using an end mill, to give the head of the stud a flat surface to seat against. This also provides more clearance from the stud head to the brake hardware. Tack welding the stud to prevent it's moving is also good insurance during the installation.

IMPORTANT! While the manufacturer advertises this stud as 1.855" long, the real USABLE LENGTH of the stud from the wheel side of the stud flat, to the end of the threads, is 1.500". We measure the length from collar that is against the drum to the end of the THREADS. Other companies measure the unthreaded portion of the stud, which is a useless measurement! These are "advertised" as a 1.855" Long Stud on the packaging, but in reality are 1.500".

To properly press in these studs simply drill out your lug holes to 37/64", then they press in! In a pinch you can pull them in with an impact gun, washers, and some grease!
