Wide 5 Disc Brake Kit, Link Pin, 2 1/2" Lowered is an all inclusive kit that has everything but wheel bearing grease and brake fluid! This kit will retain your vintage Wide 5 wheel bolt pattern,
and basically triple your braking power! ACN Recommended!
Wide 5 Disc Brake Kit, Link Pin, 2 1/2" Lowered features the early VW 5 Lug Pattern, which is 5 x 205mm. The hub and rotor were engineered in two pieces, because the 5x205mm lug pattern is so large. The Hub is cast and machined from 356 Aluminum and then heat treated to a T6 rating. The machined SAE Certified Grey Iron Rotor is then firmly secured to the 356 T6 Aluminum Hub.<P>The Spindles are BRAND NEW Chromoly Steel. Your steering geometry and ride quality are unchanged by the installation of this kit, because you'll use stock length shocks for a better ride than "shortened shocks" on lowering jobs done via any of the beam or leaf methods. Being able to get shocks anywhere is a bonus too! These new spindles are stronger than any other aftermarket spindle, including welded ones. This all adds up to a perfect set of spindles that; drops your car a full 2 1/2", retains stock steering geometry and stock length shocks, improves handling, and uses the stock early VW 5 lug pattern.

At the time of order, you must specify the year and model of your car, and you also must specify if you are using Flat-4 wheels, because the included wheel stud lengths are different for those wheels! We want to make sure you get what you need the first time!

***This kit increases tire offset by 7/8" on either side. To prevent this offset increase, a Narrowed Beam is recommended!***
