TMI Slip-On Seat Covers (Front and Rear Set), Basketweave Vinyl, 1965-67 VW Beetle Sedan, 42-1123, Black Basket Weave Vinyl are a quick and inexpensive way to rejuvinate your thrashed seats! Includes 2 front and 1 rear seat cover. Simply pull these down over your existing seat upholstery, OR you can tear them down and rebuild with new padding too. If you are going to tear the seats down for a full rebuild, we recommend getting our Deluxe Hog Ring Style seat upholstery instead, for a better finished product. These Seat Covers use Velcro Fasteners for a stronger and longer lasting way to secure the seat covers, compared to old style "Snaps" which can rip at the snap due to point loading.
We carry TMI Upholstery because it is the only brand good enough to carry a lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects. Buy with confidence knowing quality comes first. TMI's first priority's are to achieve customer satisfaction and quality of their products.
NOTE: Off-White is NOT a true white, it has a beige/gray tint to it. This is the way Volkswagen originally made it, and the same exact way TMI has reproduced it.
All TMI products feature EXACT and AUTHENTIC colors, which makes matching OEM or TMI colors easy and accurate. Plus, future additions blend in perfectly. Some brands always seem to be a shade different, even when you think your buying the right color. Mis-matched colors look cheap and not very professional. Why settle for "close" when you can have EXACT from TMI?

NOTE: Color samples are close approximations. Actual colors may display differently depending on your monitor's settings.
Do not forget our replacement padding kits to achieve the nicest finished product. You may re-use your existing seat foam as long as it is in good condition. Know that original style horsehair fiber mats still require a thin layer of foam on top for padding. We know they were original to vintage VW's but feel foam is a superior product, and that's why horsehair is NOT used in modern cars today!
The "piping" (also known as welt) on seats and door panels can be made two ways, Extruded or Wrapped. TMI's Extruded method produced piping made of solid color that is 23 times thicker than a vinyl wrapped cord. No matter how much wear you give Extruded Piping, it never shows the cord or white string like wrapped cord will show.
