Made from forged German crankshaft cores, these always spec out PERFECT, which is not true of most other crankshafts. While other cranks are "new" they often have problems with journal sizing, journal taper, balance, etc. If you want the best, we STRONGLY recommend these crankshafts!

Are you wondering why you would choose a "used" crankshaft as opposed to a new aftermarket manufactured one? Here is why! The stock VW German OEM crankshaft is the finest crank ever produced for the VW engine. The alloy and manufacturing process is superior to all other cranks produced in Brazil, Mexico or China. So the German crankshafts are the foundation used on all DPR produced crankshafts. These cores are magnafluxed (checked for internal flaws), then welded and meticulously machined, balanced and heat treated. THESE SPEC OUT PERFECT!!!!

2.0L Journals are used so you can use stock bearings and connecting rods, though this does present more clearancing issues than if you use a Type 1 or Chevy journal Crankshaft.
