Rear Axle Seal, IRS Beetle and Super Beetle, Karmann Ghia, Thing, and Type 3, 113-501-315H is used to seal the rear wheel bearings and stub axles on IRS Type 1s and 3s. There are TWO needed per wheel (Inner and Outer), when changing wheel bearings.

Stock axle spacers are notoriously weak, and also "groove" from the axle seal, and this causes perpetual leaks that you can never seem to fix no matter how many times you try! This version is stock width for all IRS Rear Suspensions.

This tool is used to hold 200 and 180mm flywheels AND 4 or 5 lug brake drums from turning when tightening/loosening. Doesn't risk case breakage (the case ears) like a standard flywheel lock. This is a great tool to have around the garage for the do-it-yourselfer. This tool eliminates the need for an assistant when tightening or loosening rear axle nuts, or the flywheel gland nut. This tool is strong enough to withstand over 2x the recommended torque spec. Bolt pattern fits both 180 and 200mm flywheels, AND both 4 lug and 5 lug brake drums! Also fits 5 x 130mm Small-5 Bus & Vanagon Brake Drums!

This was initially introduced under the "Torque-meister" brand name years ago. Mechanical advantage (leverage) makes seemingly impossibly tight nuts come off WITH EASE! Accurate too! This is a great tool to have around the garage for the do-it-yourselfer. This tool eliminates the need for an assistant when tightening or loosening rear axle nuts, or the flywheel gland nut.
