If you ran a low impedance coil with the original Pertronix it would burn up in a matter of minutes! But the Pertronix II is designed for that, and has no problem! It also senses when the key is on but the engine is not running, which used to burn out the original Pertronix! The Pertronix II is immune to this sort of abuse! These features are worth the additional money over the original Pertronix module!

Included 5 Bar MAP Sensor also controls Vacuum Advance, or Boost Retard for turbo cars! What does ACN mean by this? It means that all the timing curve is in a programmable timing table, and done electronically (Instead of by mechanical weights inside the distributor). Have a ping at 2800 RPM? Just retard that area of the ignition curve! Want 12 degrees of "Vacuum Advance" at light throttle for MPG gains? Add some high vacuum timing on the timing table!)

This device is small (see 3rd picture), so it's easily hide able!
