2 1/2" Drop Spindles (Cast/Chromoly Hybrid), Ball Joint, Disc Brakes - PAIR
|
|
Lowering Spindles are the best possible way to lower the front of your VW Bug or Ghia. Instead of using sketchy welded or all-cast spindles, use these new Cast/Chromoly Hybrid units. Fit all Type 1 Ball Joint front ends, and drop is a full 2 1/2"! These use 1969+ Late Tie Rod Ends and Wheel Bearings.
These fit all 1966 and later Ball Joint Type 1 front ends, BUT if you have a 1966-68 you'll also need
(2) 111-405-641B Grease Seals and (2) 311-405-625B Front Inner Wheel Bearings
Since the new spindles use the larger (stronger) spindle, which requires these later parts.
