This distributor comes WITH the Pertronix Flamethrower II Points Replacement device pre-installed. Build quality is not quite as good as the formerly available ACN SVDA, so you MAY have to disassemble, clean, and lube it to ensure smooth operation. But it is completely warrantied, so no worries there! Distributor O-ring is Included with this unit. This unit is a clone of the Bosch 034 distributor.

If you are wondering why you would want to upgrade to the Pertronix II SVDA, one reason is that the II module senses when the key is on but the engine is not running. If you forgot your keys in the ignition, the original Pertronix module would burn out and need to be replaced. The Pertronix II is immune to this issue. The Pertronix 2 SVDA and Flamethrower II Points Replacement devices are designed to run with a low impedance (0.6 ohm) coil.
The combination of centrifugal and vacuum advance give the smoothest performance, a 3-4mpg improvement in your fuel economy on the highway, and a major drop in engine temps on the highway too!
Because we developed this SVDA distributor in the mid/late 1980s, then started selling them in quantity in the late 1990s, it is amazing that it took as long as it did for the copies to show up. This is the best of the copies.
SVDA stands for Single Vacuum Dual Advance (since it has BOTH vacuum and centrifugal advance, that's where the "Dual Advance" comes from). This Pertronix SVDA uses the same cap and rotor as the 009, so you may even have some tune up parts lying around!
This distributor is not custom tailored like our Flagship ACN SVDA, it's a "one model fits all" unit. It is certainly better than any 009, 010, 019, or 050, or other centrifugal only distributor you have. Note that this is designed to work with SVDA compatible induction, ie: FI, 34-3, 34-4, Weber ICT, IDF, Progressive, and Dellorto DRLA carbs.
Don't be a sucker and use that One Size Fits None "Uh-Oh-Nine". We feel the only nice thing about the 009 is it's inexpensive and simple, so it's nice to "keep around" in case you have a distributor problem of some sort.
The Pertronix SVDA comes with the Points Replacement Device PRE INSTALLED.
We have had repeated inquiries about SVDAs for 30 PICT 1 and 30 PICT 2 carbs. There is NO SVDA compatible with the 30-1 or 30-2 carbs, so your options are to either put a stock distributor on, use a 009 (yuck), or put an SVDA on in conjunction with a Single Port compatible 30/31 carburetor, since we have an SVDA for the 30/31.
