NOTICE

Please read this notice and only continue if you are willing to abide by our updated backorder acquisition and fulfillment terms of service.

Supply-chain disruptions have hampered our ability to acquire/restock items reliably. Additionally, a lack of backorder ETA information is a frustrating "new normal" for our hobby. As a result, we have had to change our BACKORDER ACQUISITION TERMS OF SERVICE. If you opt to have us "send backorders later", backordered items will ship automatically within 30 days IF we are able to get them. Longer than 30 day backorders WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY CANCELLED. Made-to-order, Special-Order, and Direct-shipped items may take longer than 30 days, and will NOT be auto-canceled.

On the next page, you will be prompted to select a BACKORDER HANDLING INSTRUCTION for your Order Request. In every case, you are NOT CHARGED for out-of-stock items (we ONLY charge for items that are available to be shipped in a timely or reasonably reliable timeframe). If you opt to "send backorders later" you are automatically added to the waitlist for those items, and we post stock status / backorder info to your Order Status/Progress/History Detail View in your online Customer Account. You can email to cancel un-shipped/un-paid items at any time as long as they are not direct-shipped, special order or made/machined-to-order.

Currently many shipments are delayed and our response time to emails are slow (we are severely short-staffed). Please trust that even if we can't reply to your email promptly, we are continuing to work to fulfill your Order Request as best we can, and we will contact you once we have any new information that is not already posted in your online Order Progress/History area in your customer account.

Please only continue if you are prepared to be PATIENT. Some of the items in your cart might be out-of-stock, and if that is the case, within a day or two we will post itemized stock status information to your account and/or email you to let you know. We appreciate your continued support and understanding.

CB Performance Serpentine Belt and Pulley Kit, 7", Black OEM Style Pulley, CB1877
CB Performance Serpentine Belt and Pulley Kit, 7", Black OEM Style Pulley
Photos courtesy of CB Performance

CB Performance Serpentine Belt and Pulley Kit, 7", Black OEM Style Pulley provides almost no belt drag like V-belt systems. This spins the fan quicker (no slipping!), and is easily adjustable. This kit uses a FULL SIZE pulley for maximum cooling!

This kit stops the problems of broken alt/gen pulleys and thrown belts while keeping the "stock" look. This kit is manufactured from a solid billet of T-6 Aluminum, anodized black, with the original style of the stamped steel OEM top and bottom pulleys. It includes timing marks at BDC (for easier valve adjusting), 0 (TDC), and 5, 10, 20, and 30 degrees BTDC.

CNC precision machined to spin true for that stealth high performance engine. Measures 7" in diameter.

The flat multi-grooved belt and idler pulley help reduce drag and lost power while increasing cooling efficiency and reliability. The all NEW Billet O.E. Serpentine Belt System is easy to install. The belt tensioner bracket is held in position by the alt./gen. stand base bolts, just bolt it on. Serpentine Belts run silent, true, and outlast V belts many times over.

Fits all upright, air-cooled, VW Engines, but does NOT fit the FI engines, nor the Mexican Alternator stands!

Serpentine belts do not slip nor flip, they are more efficient than V-belts. However, because they do not slip we do NOT recommend that you use a Serpentine belt if your engine's RPMs exceed 6000, it over-speeds the fan, since it doesn't slip like a V-belt does. This exposes the fan to more RPMs and they often blow-up. A Serpentine belt system is GREAT for Cruisers (especially busses) that tend to run hot, because you get maximum cooling airflow with a Serpentine Belt System.
