Bugpack 30mm Super O-ringed Oil Pump, Cast Cover. This is not just a heavy duty oil pump; it comes with a special cover that supports the cover end of the gears, and also comes with a drilled/tapped pump cover for full flow or non full-flow use.


 
Bugpack's Super Oil Pump is not just a heavy duty pump, but rather a special high volume model. This pump comes with a drilled and tapped cast iron pump cover.

This pump uses a special cover which supports the drive and idle shafts at the cover end, minimizing wear and increasing reliability. An O-ring seal prevents leakage too! If you wish to use it for Full Flow use, install the -8 fittings to route the oil outside the pump to your filter and/or cooler, remembering to use the included stock pump outlet PLUG (to force the oil out the cover).

If you want to use this in a conventional style, simply use the included 3/8" NPT plug into the full flow cover and do NOT use the internal plug, and voila' you have a regular pump!

"3-bolt" and "4-bolt" refer to the # of bolts or rivets holding the cam to the cam gear; they use a different oil pump due to drive tang depth.

This pump DOES fit all engine cases, though you should check oil galley port alignment during the installation. Minor porting to line up ports for the smoothest non-turbulent flow is strongly recommended, as is checking the pump cover for casting flash, and remove if needed.
