TRANSMISSION CORES ******************************************************CORE REFUND CRITERIA and INSTRUCTIONS
ALL CORE RETURNS MUST BE PRE-AUTHORIZED AND ACCOMPANIED BY A CORE RETURN MERCHANDISE AUTHORIZATION NUMBER (Core RMA#).
You are required to Email custservice@aircooled.net in advance of your core return shipment to receive the Core RMA# to write on the outside of your Core Return package.
The time to process receipt of your Core Return, send to rebuilder to inspect and determine core eligibility, and then to either process Refund of your Core Return Fee or, alternatively, notify you of ineligibility, may be as long as 90 days from date of receipt of your core return.
!! IMPORTANT !! A Core RMA# issued by Aircooled.Net is NOT A GUARANTEE that you will receive a refund of your Transmission Core Fee!!
Please read and consider the criteria below:
**Please note that transmission cores must be sent to RANCHO VW TRANSAXLES in CALIFORNIA, and NOT to our warehouse in Utah.
- The core that you return must be an exact match (same part and suitable for the same application) as the product that you purchase
- Return shipping of your transmission core, can be via whatever shipping carrier/method you choose (typically UPS Ground is most economical and effective. Shipping arrangements must be made by you, and all core return shipping costs are your responsibility.
- Be sure to prepare your core appropriately for safe transit. It's often easiest to ship your core back in a box similar to the one that Rancho uses to ship your new transmission to you. Re-pack your core after draining all the gear oil, and wrap your core in a heavy duty trash bag before placing in your cardboard box.
- Insure your return shipment: No core credit will be processed for product that doesn't arrive at the core return destination OR that arrives with damage from carrier mishandling.
- There is a possibility that your returned core is worn or damaged beyond what can be rebuilt, in which case you will be notified, but you would not receive credit or be able to have it rebuilt in that case. If your core turns out to not be rebuildable, you would NOT receive any reimbursement of your core return shipping costs, nor will your core be returned to you (unless you make further shipping arrangements). By returning a transmission core to Rancho for assessment, you are accepting the risk for that possibility to occur.
Let us know if you intend to return your transmission core for consideration and we will send you the necessary Core Return Authorization Number (CoreRMA) and InstructionsAGREEMENT: Shipment of your Transmission Core Return constitutes implicit agreement to all of the above Terms, Conditions and Criteria. All Core Return Fee Refunds are determined at the sole discretion of Aircooled.Net, Inc. Sorry folks! But all these warnings and restrictions have become necessary due to those few people who want us to refund them for units that DOA and/or so beat up that they are barely usable as doorstops!!
