Deluxe Center Mount Intake Manifold Kit, for Weber Progressive (DFAV/DFEV) is the finest available! This solves 2 problems, the first is the linkage arrangement is smooth and bulletproof (no more cable rubbing!). This linkage works WITH the stock throttle cable (and location). Budget kits move the cable to the carb, and this is a horrible angle (wears out the carb and the cable). This intake has a 94x45mm (3.700 x 1.790") bolt pattern for the carb.
Your second advantage with this kit is the exhaust preheat goes to the carb base, the more heat the better and smoother your center mount will run! The more common "Budget" Intake kits have flow that ONLY goes along the lower main intake tube, while our kit routes this exhaust heat to the carburetor base.
If you have a center mount Weber Progressive, you can immensely help the MPG, performance, and drivability by substituting this intake for the (most likely) "economy" (IE: CHEAP) intake that came with it!

We STRONGLY recommend that you use an electric or "ALTERNATOR" mechanical fuel pump, the "Generator" mechanical fuel pumps are taller, and sometimes hold the intake up, causing the electric choke on the carb to contact the fan shroud. The use of an electric pump, or the shorter "Alternator" fuel pumps, prevent this issue.
Understand that this intake design is "fat", and comes REALLY close to factory fuel pumps. Interference is not uncommon, even with the shorter "Alternator Style" pumps. The easy way to tackle this issue is to order an electric fuel pump and block off the stock pump. If the intake is held too high, you can have clearance problems with the air filter, AND the carb choke can contact the fan shroud (and short out).
