Spark Plug Wire End (Bakelite Plug Connector), All Models, Each, 113-035-255A are often cracked when owners and mechanics try to yank the wire end off or on, at an ANGLE. These have the spring loaded clip inside which grips the threaded end of the plug. If these are cracked, the spark can jump outside the plug to ground, causing a cylinder misfire. These are sold each, you need 4 to seal up one engine. Some folks prefer these wire ends to the ones that come on "high end" plug wires, and remove the factory wire end, then trim the OD of the silicone wire and then thread this one one instead! Spark Plug Starter Threading Tool, 12" Long is a fantastic toolbox item! For years we used to use a length of breather hose to start spark plugs in difficult to access places, but this tool is better! This tool is a "Must Have" in the toolbox of any VW Beetle or Bus Enthusiast.

Internal Cable within a "stiff" Exoskeleton do it! We recommend that you loosen your plugs with your ratchet and socket as normal, then push this tool on and bend it so that it routes and aims properly. Now remove the plug. Put the new one in the tool, and it's already aimed for an easy thread starting job, minimizing the risk of cross threading! You'll finish the job with your ratchet and socket again. The Exoskeleton is stiff to hold it's shape, it won't wriggle, flex, or get tweaked if you have to "crank" the internal cable!
