1 5/8" Big Bore Heater Box Kit, Upright Engines, PAIR (Left and Right) means you no longer have to have to choose between a good flowing exhaust, OR good heat! These are unlike any other big bore heater boxes, with full OE style cast aluminum finnage around the tubes in the heater box shell!

Furthermore, these allow you to do away with those stupid exhaust doughnuts! This kit comes with exhaust flanges to weld to the heater boxes, to match the header you are currently using. This means you have real gaskets instead of that stupid exhaust doughnut that always leaks! Remember that exhaust tubing is measured on the OUTSIDE DIAMETER. These are a lot bigger than stock heater boxes, which are small but also have a REALLY thick pipe, which constricts the ID of the tube.

Quiet Pack muffler is for guys that are sick of the noise and DRONE! This offers great ground clearance for all cars, and a nice compact exhaust system that fits underneath all the bodywork. This is for the header AND the muffler! This system is made with 1-1/2" 16 gauge mild steel, 5/16" thick flanges, and is MIG welded on a jig, then test fit to ensure optimum quality and performance.

This header is an incredible value for those that don't have the money for a hand made A-1 Exhaust! Not as many options as the A-1 version, but look at the value!

Remember that Exhaust Tubing is measured on the OUTSIDE (Not Inside), stock is 1 1/4". A decent guideline is to run 1 3/8" for up to 90hp, 1 1/2" from 90-140hp, and 1 5/8" from 140-200hp. The Cylinder 1 and 3 J-pipes are INCLUDED with this header.

This kit does NOT include clamps not mounting nuts. It does include gaskets, but the gaskets are of poor quality, so we strongly recommend you get some premium gaskets at the same time, so you don't have to replace blown out gaskets a week after installation! more info
