Luggage Rack Base Seal, 1974-91 Bus and Vanagon Westfalia Pop-Top, 231-709 is the seal at the base of the luggage rack pod at the front of your Pop Top bus or vanagon. If these leak air gets under it and will make a RACKET as it flutters the base! This  replaces the often cracked, sagging, or even missing luggage rack base seal. These seal against the top of the van, keeping air and water out. Drainage is also important to prevent mold and mildew caused by stagnant moisture! This seal goes around the perimeter of the Luggage Rack section, it does not include the Pop Top seal itself, which is sold separately as part # 231-708. more info
