This handle is held in place by a single Philips Head Screw at the center of the pivot, and it doesn't take much for it to come loose and fall off. We strongly recommend that you use some blue Loctite on the screw threads to prevent this!

This is NOT a taffy-like chinese POS, it's top notch!

Window crank handles can be confusing. This handle will "fit" anything from 1968+, but VW changed the handles in 1968 to the chrome and black handle, then in 1970 to the "All Black Pebbled Finish" handle, then again in 1975 to a more modern looking handle, even though all 3 are physically interchangable. We recommend getting 2 handles at the same time so you are sure that they match, and slight finish differences DO commonly occur with aftermarket parts.

This handle will "fit" anything from 1968+, but VW changed the handles in 1968 to the chrome and black handle, then in 1970 to the "All Black Pebbled Finish" handle, then again in 1975 to a more modern looking handle, even though all 3 are physically interchangeable. We recommend getting 2 handles at the same time so you are sure that they match, and slight finish differences DO commonly occur with aftermarket parts.
