We tried them all, and they were either too expensive, smelled like you just paved the inside of your car, or didn't stick! Until we came across Fat Mat and Rattle Trap! These 2 products are from the same company, but in 40 mil and 80 mil thicknesses respectively. Rattle Trap is 1/3 less than Dynamat, and we feel it works better to boot! more info

Floor Console, TMI Basic Style for 1965 and Later VW Beetle, Super Beetle, Karmann Ghia, THING, and Type 3, 25-1109 is an inexpensive molded Black ABS Plastic Floor Console which includes (2) large Storage Trays, (2) Coin Holders, (2) Cup Holders, and a Black Leatherette Shift Boot. This is a little flimsy, but it firms up once you screw it to the tunnel as it's designed. If you just throw it down on the tunnel you could have problems! Some folks tape the HOOK side of VELCRO to the bottom of this console, and it grabs the floor carpet nicely. more info

Heat Shield Padding, One (1) 48 x 72" Sheet, 34-9104 is a fiber mat with an aluminum backing. The primary use of Heat Shield is for minor sound deadening, and insulation from cold or against heat. A layer of this behind and under the rear seat will REALLY quiet your car down! Be sure to always install Heat Shield with the aluminum foil backing facing the metal body of the car, to reflet the heat and cold OUT. This can also be used on the inside of the roof, if you do a good job with the Spray Adhesive, it really removes a lot of the "tin can" sound of the car. more info
