Our ability to respond to emails is greatly hampered by being under-staffed during this downsize transition time. But we continue to endeavor to answer email inquiries as best we can. Heat Shield Padding, One (1) 48 x 72" Sheet, 34-9104 is a fiber mat with an aluminum backing. The primary use of Heat Shield is for minor sound deadening, and insulation from cold or against heat. A layer of this behind and under the rear seat will REALLY quiet your car down! Be sure to always install Heat Shield with the aluminum foil backing facing the metal body of the car, to reflet the heat and cold OUT. This can also be used on the inside of the roof, if you do a good job with the Spray Adhesive, it really removes a lot of the "tin can" sound of the car. more info
