Weber 48 IDA Idle Jet Holder, Size 120 (1.2mm), 77903.120 are genuine Weber jets for your babies! The idle air jet supplies air to the idle and progression circuit, to mix with fuel from the idle jet. The COMBINATION of the 2 results in your mixture. In the DCNF and IDF, the idle air bleed is fixed. That is why you can get 1/4 sized jets for the DCNF (52.5, 55, 57.5, etc), but not the IDA. In the IDA you have additional tuning options by changing the idle air bleed, which is built into the Idle Jet Holder. For example, if you are too rich with a 60 idle, but too lean with a 55, when using a 120 Idle Air, try running a 60 Idle Fuel with a 130 Idle Air to lean it out a bit. Understand that you have to make the 130 out of the 120 via drilling, since sizes other than 120 are not available from Weber!

Item Features
We are aware that we are a little more expensive than other suppliers of Weber jets, but here is why you should use Aircooled.Net. First, we only sell genuine Weber jets from Italy! Secondly, we will tell you the correct jet sizes to minimize your jet expense, and your valuable time tuning! Other shops that aren't proficient at Weber Tuning will be happy to sell you jets at $4 ea, and you'll wind up with 6 sizes (24 jets) that you don't need! That makes no sense! By buying from us you will not spend more than you have to, our experience will keep your costs down, while providing the highest quality parts.
With that out of the way, we recommend the following idle jet sizes for sea level driving for dual IDAs.
55-60s. You can do further tuning with the idle air jets
Drop the size "1" for every 1k' rise above sea level. So if you have IDAs, in Denver (5k') you'd need ~55-60, but the same carbs at sea level would use 47.5-50.
Despite what you have read in "other" places, these sizes will result in the best running (cool) and stellar MPG. Use the main circuit for your power tuning! Read our tuning guide for further tuning tips, you'll save a fortune by buying the jets you need ONCE without guesswork!
