This is braided for abrasion resistance, and has a cloth braid covering, that is easy to grip to put the hose on and off. The covering also looks "new" far longer. This results in a firmer more responsive pedal. Most folks install this on the rear brake line at the master cylinder, BUT due to the routing of the front to rear brake line, you'll need a short brake line (bent in a loop) to connect the line and residual pressure valve to the master cylinder. more info
