Spare Tire Well, 1958-78 Standard Beetle, 111-805-583A is a nice item to repair your 1958-78 Beetle that's been crashed in the front end. Don't forget to fix your brakes too! This connects the front apron to the inner panel, supporting the spare tire. Note this runs up and includes the hole for the shift rod to be removed and installed into the chassis tunnel via the access holes in this panel, the front apron, and the front of the frame head. This requires welding for installation.
