Eagle Racing Type 1 Camshaft, 2280 Grind (Cheater Cam), 1.1 or 1.25 Rockers, CB2280 has specs of .359" Cam Lift, .394" Valve Lift (1.1 Rockers), 274 degrees of advertised duration, and 222 degrees of duration at .050", on a 108 Lobe Center. This cam is great for guys that are building a stock type engine WITH THE STOCK CARBURETOR, but want an increase in performance. We call these engines "Stocker Plus"! This cam was designed to improve drive ability and power, without affecting emissions at all! You can get 10hp addition with this cam and some other mild add ons (Header, fluff and buff the head ports, etc). This cam also responds well to 1.25 rockers! You'll need HD springs if you plan on more than stock carburetion, exhaust, or exceed 4500 RPM.


This cam works great with stock heads, but it's performance is much better with some porting, and especially if larger valves are used. Expect a power band from idle to 5000 RPMs

This cam need HD Single Valve springs and Bolt On Rocker Shafts. This cam works best with a compression ratio of 8.25-8.4:1, but you can run it in the 8-8.25:1 range too.

You can use 1.25 rocker with this cam, if you use HD Springs and Bolt On Rocker Shafts!
