We are still fulfilling and shipping previously submitted and/or delayed order requests (as product availability allows) UNTIL NOVEMBER 15th 2022.

But after November 15th, all still pending backordered unshipped items will be automatically CANCELLED **(except for any special ordered drop-shipped or made/machined-to-order items).

Our ability to respond to emails is greatly hampered by being under-staffed during this downsize transition time. But we continue to endeavor to answer email inquiries as best we can. And we will continue responding to emails through until early March 2023 because we are wholly committed to resolving any other issues that may arise from previous sales. It is still UNCERTAIN, but we may re-open a substantially downsized version of our store again in the Spring of 2023.

You can email to cancel un-shipped/un-paid items at any time as long as they are not direct-shipped, special order or made/machined-to-order.

AIRCOOLED.NET IS DOWNSIZING. Pertronix II (Flamethrower II) Points Replacement Kit, Fits Bosch Distributor 0231129022, 010, and 019 Distributors, 12 Volt, 91844 will update your 50yo car to modern technology! Do you really want 50's technology (points and condenser) keeping you running? Runs as well as a points and condenser system, but without the spark degradation or timing changes that are common with points! Fits VW Bug SVDAs and Vacuum advance distributors. Replace your archaic points with a magnetically triggered ignition. You'll never adjust points again once it's installed, and it's not affected by dirt, oil, moisture or grease. Very easy to install.

If you are wondering, the Pertronix II module has a couple of advantages over the original Pertronix. First, the Pertronix II module changes dwell as needed, which means you can use a 3 ohm coil (like the stock blue coil), OR you can step up to a low impedance coil! If you ran a low impedance coil with the original Pertronix it would burn up in a matter of minutes! But the Pertronix II is designed for that, and has no problem! It also senses when the key is on but the engine is not running, which used to burn out the original Pertronix! The Pertronix II is immune to this sort of abuse! These features are worth the additional money over the original Pertronix module!

WARNING: a lot of enthusiasts rely on dwell when setting up their ignition. Dwell is non-adjustable and meaningless when using a points replacement device like this, so ignore the dwell reading!
