Our ability to respond to emails is greatly hampered by being under-staffed during this downsize transition time. But we continue to endeavor to answer email inquiries as best we can. Door Hinge Pin, 1968 and Later Beetle and Super Beetle, Left or Right, EACH, 111-831-421E are often seized or worn to the point where the door hinge has a lot of play. This will allow the door to sag and the door hits the jamb! OH NO! You can replace the hinge pin, which restores door hanging the way it should be. These work for either the left or right side, top or bottom hinge.

It also should be mentioned that these are a BEAR to get in and out, so much so that we rent a hinge pin press to do this job on the car with minimal damage. We've been working on these cars for over 30 years, and replacing hinge pins has always been a job you avoided because it is so difficult! But the press makes the job simple and easy!
