Bolt On Cam Gear, ADJUSTABLE, Made in USA, EACH are fantastic! The gear is designed to be adjustable with a selection of degree discs, so you can advance/retard your cam timing from -4 to STD to +4 degrees (every 2 degrees). This is used with 3 bolt cams, and the helical (Angled) teeth are as quiet as stock!. Helical (Angled) teeth are as quiet as stock! Only available in Standard Size! We recommend adjustable cam gears on cams over 290 degrees duration, the engine gets pickier with big cams, and having the cam dialed in properly matters!

Make sure during gear installation that you check a couple things prior to installing the crank gear onto the crankshaft. Sometimes the woodruff key is too wide, or the slot in the crank is too narrow. This causes the crank to "swell" when the key is hammered into the crank, then the gear is too tight next to the gear. This is a common cause of the gear cracking at the key way, or the more common not known problem of elliptical crank gears, which shows as the cam gear has serious tooth wear in 2 locations 180 degrees from one another on the soft aluminum gear. Make absolutely sure that the crankshaft does not measure larger on either side next to the woodruff key AFTER the key is installed, to avoid this serious build issue!
