This kit stops the problems of broken alt/gen pulleys and thrown belts while keeping the "stock" look. This kit is manufactured from a solid billet of T-6 Aluminum, anodized black, with the original style of the stamped steel OEM top and bottom pulleys. It includes timing marks at BDC (for easier valve adjusting), 0 (TDC), and 5, 10, 20, and 30 degrees BTDC.

CNC precision machined to spin true for that stealth high performance engine. Measures 7" in diameter.

The flat multi-grooved belt and idler pulley help reduce drag and lost power while increasing cooling efficiency and reliability. The all NEW Billet O.E. Serpentine Belt System is easy to install. The belt tensioner bracket is held in position by the alt./gen. stand base bolts, just bolt it on. Serpentine Belts run silent, true, and outlast V belts many times over.

Serpentive belts do not slip nor flip, they are more efficient than V-belts. However, because they do not slip we do NOT recommend that you use a Serpentine belt if your engine's RPMs exceed 6000, it over-speeds the fan, since it doesn't slip like a V-belt does. This exposes the fan to more RPMs and they often blow-up. So a Serpentine belt system is GREAT for Cruisers (especially busses) that tend to run hot, you get maximum cooling airflow with a Serpentine Belt System. more info

This billet-aluminum pulley is an OVERSIZED crankshaft pulley that will turn the fan faster, for maximum cooling. Good for busses and convertible beetles, in the heat of summertime! Pulley INCLUDES the belt! Pulley can NOT be used on full flow engines (the pulley hits the return fitting) or engines with filter-pumps.

This pulley uses a 9.5 x 940mm belt.

WARNING: We do NOT recommend the use of this pulley on anything more then "mild" performance use, because performance engines can over-accelerate the fan, which can result in fan failure ($$$). Also do not exceed 5500 RPM with this pulley on the engine or the fan will over speed. Lastly; This is a nice pulley, but the degree #s are on 180 degrees out! It's indexed perfect, but TDC is for #2 and #4 because of this, don't let that throw you off (that's why we are telling you).
