Steering Shaft Bearing, Upper, Plastic Center, 1974 1/2 and Later Type 1, 3, and 4, 111-953-559C is a commonly worn out bearing, which is the steering shaft flopping around despite the steering wheel being tight! The installation of this part will restore steering shaft retention.

This bearing has the metal center, the 1974 1/2 and later one has the plastic center.

To put this in you will have to remove the steering wheel and the turn signal switch, then it's retained by a clip. You'll see how shot yours is when you put the new one in!

This bearing fits the 22mm steering shaft, and has the Plastic Insert in the bearing.
