Be careful when removing so they do not tear at the stud holes. And make sure your drain plate is flat! These are 1/16" (1.6mm) thick. Price is for a PAIR of gaskets to do one engine. Fit 40hp-1600cc based engines.

When these were originally made, the manufacturer (not VW guys) made them 1/8" (3.2mm), which is too thick. This is a problem because the sump studs are too short to work with 2 thick gaskets. So we had them re-make them with a THIN material, and they work sweet!
