These J-pipes ONLY fit exhausts using a stock heater box location, such as the Vintage Speed exhausts, stock mufflers, Tri-Mil OTT systems, Bugpack Street Headers, etc.

These stingers fit the small 3 bolt flanges on Bugpack, EMPI, Phoenix, Berg, and S&S systems. Choose from Raw/Black, Chrome, or Ceramic Silver.

This part does NOT come with any exhaust flange gaskets, you will need 2 good ones to make sure it doesn't leak! If it leaks, you'll get "False Lean" readings on your O2 Gauge!

Simply cut off the flare on the muffler or header, then slip these on during assembly. Weld or braze one flange to the heater box or j-pipe, and the other to the muffler or header. Now you have a leak-free connection!

Permatex Ultra Copper RTV Sealant (Silicone), 3oz Tube is an excellent sealant for cylinder bases, and cylinder shims. Wipe on a thin coat, let it skin up then install the parts. Also great for valve cover gaskets, oil strainer and generator stand gaskets, etc. Permatex makes several different formulations of RTV, we only carry 2 of them because these 2 cover all applications that we need for our Vintage VWs.

These are stamped out of copper, and ensure a positive seal every time. They are also REUSABLE. Simply heat them with a torch til' they glow red, then allow them to air cool (slowly). This makes them soft again (annealing) so you can reuse them.

Exhaust Flange Gasket, 1 7/16" (36mm) Bolt Spacing, Waterboxer Engines, N90131602 are the highest quality gaskets you can get, consisting of both a metal and a fibrous layer. Nice to have in the toolbox for exhaust blowouts! Nice to have in the toolbox for exhaust blowouts! A lot of knowledgeable VW enthusiasts use these metal reinforced ones instead of the stock gaskets, they are much less likely to leak or blow out than the stock beetle gaskets! Some guys even re-use them time and time again, since they keep working without leaks! Gasket hole measures 1-7/16" (36mm).

11 x 8mm nuts allow easier access to loosen and tighten your heater boxes or header to your engine, especially when you have larger than stock headers! Normally 13mm nuts infringe on your "wrench room" and make tightening and loosening a pain! You can also use these for your intake manifolds for more room! When using these nuts you can get a socket and a couple "wobbly extensions" run down from above for a FAST R&R. WHY DIDN'T YOU HAVE THESE BEFORE? LOL

Once you use these you will never EVER go back to the Brass Nuts (that strip and round off), or the barely better 12mm ones out there.

These are a LOT smaller than 11mm on the Head, and the flange keeps the header far enough away from the nut to allow your socket or wrench head enough room to get on and off!

We use these all over because they are so useful. The obvious application is header nuts, when you have a larger than stock header. These even work on exhausts as big as 2 1/4"!!!!! The not so obvious application are to hold down your intake manifold(s)! Now you have a ton of room to use a FAST Ratchet with a long extension above the carb top! You can take a dual carb system off in under a minute after a little practice! Imagine, no more bloody knuckles after an hour of fighting your car!!!!

Exhaust Flange Gasket, 40hp-1600cc, 111-251-261B fits all 40hp and newer T1 based engines, and also waterboxer engines. These are 3 piece gaskets, 2 thin pieces of metal sandwiching a fibrous layer. Nice to have in the toolbox for exhaust blowouts!
