We rely heavily on email as the most efficient and accurate way to serve our customers. Please only contact us by PHONE if you are unable to email for some reason, or if your situation (or tech question) is complicated.

We do NOT offer "formal" phone hours, but instead RETURN ALL MESSAGES (usually within 1-2 business days) at a time when we are able to focus on your situation/questions and aren't preoccupied with the flurry of shipments that we are shipping to waiting customers in the busy part of our day. We return calls DURING THE DAY at various times throughout the week as time allows, so please be prepared to wait a few days for us to call you back. If you are phoning for status of a backorder or order in process, you may receive your reply by EMAIL.

Wheel Cylinder, Rear, SUPER STOPPER, Brazilian, 1958 and Later Beetle, Super Beetle, and Ghia

Wheel Cylinder, Rear, SUPER STOPPER, Brazilian, 1958 and Later Beetle, Super Beetle, and Ghia are a larger bore wheel cylinder, which increasing shoe to drum pressure, for more WHOA! This is great for cars with big rear tires, or cars that have front disc brakes! In either of these cases, more stopping power is needed in the rear of the car to balance the braking. Cars with uneven braking will often lock up the front tires well before the rears, by adding more stopping power in the rear, the front is much less likely to skid!

This is a really good upgrade if you are in there doing the brakes, and it will work with the stock master cylinder. And this is a lot less # and hassle than installing rear disc brakes! Get our Super Stopper Rear Brake Shoes while you are doing the rear brakes, you may not need discs!
