OUR ONLINE CHECKOUT is CLOSED and we are NOT accepting any NEW orders at this time.

We are still fulfilling and shipping previously submitted and/or delayed order requests (as product availability allows) UNTIL NOVEMBER 15th 2022.

But after November 15th, all still pending backordered unshipped items will be automatically CANCELLED **(except for any special ordered drop-shipped or made/machined-to-order items).

Our ability to respond to emails is greatly hampered by being under-staffed during this downsize transition time. But we continue to endeavor to answer email inquiries as best we can. And we will continue responding to emails through until early March 2023 because we are wholly committed to resolving any other issues that may arise from previous sales. It is still UNCERTAIN, but we may re-open a substantially downsized version of our store again in the Spring of 2023.

We sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding during this period of restructuring and/or closing. And a huge thank you to all of you whose support and loyalty we have been the beneficiary of over the 23 years that we have worked diligently to support the information and parts needs of the aircooled VW community!

Oil Filler Nut Removal Tool, Deluxe Model
Oil Filler Nut Removal Tool, Deluxe Model

Oil Filler Nut Removal Tool, Deluxe Model makes this job, which is normally a royal pain in the butt, an easy endeavor! Cam Lock operation with sharp teeth, tighten INSIDE the nut, instead of trying to grab the useless "slot" that the cheaper tools do! This slick tool uses rotational leverage to GRIP the INSIDE of the filler nut so you can spin stubborn filler nuts loose. The $8 tool sucks and doesn't last long, this one is great!

ACN Tip: use a single port intake manifold gasket instead of that useless paper one that you are SUPPOSED to use, and your stock oil filler tower will stop leaking!

Price: $24.95
Restrictions: Tool Purchases are NON-RETURNABLE

5 of 5 This removal tool rocks June 24, 2013

I had a gland nut to remove that could only be removed this way because the slot in the gland nut was elongated.
Make certain to place the tool in the filler neck so that the cam of the tool is at the depth of the gland nut. Not deeper not shallower.  I hand tightened it and put a rachet on it, and out it came.  Since the threads were gummed up on the nut this tool provided the needed bite until the last half rotation and I could turn it by hand. I couldnt imagine using the budget version for all those turns.
OUT in less than a minute!
