Lifter Resurfacing, Refinishing, Parkerizing, Set of 8
Lifter Resurfacing, Refinishing, Parkerizing, Set of 8

Lifter Resurfacing, Refinishing, Parkerizing, Set of 8, is the labor to resurface a set of lifters to better than new condition. Many new lifters are less than great in their finishing, this service maximizes your chance of a good cam and lifter break in. This will "fix" lifters that are not ideally finished, and bring you closer to a successful lifter break in period.

If you look at the lifter head under a scope, you might be shocked at how "jaggedy" the lifter head actually is! This lifter treatment consists of regrinding the lifters to an optimal surface finish, and getting the lifter head radius correct for proper lifter rotation. Then they are heat treated to the proper hardness, and then they are Parkerized, and finally finish polished. This work allows the lifter to slide with the lowest friction possible, and to properly rotate to ensure the best wear prevention and cam compatibility.

This work should be done to already compatible cams and lifters, it will not "fix" an incompatible cam and lifter to one another.

PLEASE ALSO NOTE: Requesting this add-on service / aftermarket coating service may delay fulfillment of your order request by several weeks.

Price: $50.00
