Dual Port Cylinder Head, 40 x 35.5mm Valves, 49cc Chambers, PAIR, 500-420 are a GREAT deal on a pair of Big Valve heads for that engine project you are going to do! These are complete with Valves, Guides, Springs, Keepers, Retainers, bolt them on! Chambers "out of the box" have ~59cc. If you want a different chamber volume, please choose the "CC" option.

Price is for TWO cylinder heads to do one engine. These heads come unported, they can be used as is, or ported for more airflow and power.

A warehouse mistake left us with these 49cc chambered heads, which gives you 8:1 on a 1600cc engine, 8.5:1 on a 74x85.5mm engine, and 9:1 on a 78x85.5mm engine.


The HD Single valve springs work well for cams up to around 290 advertised duration (Engle 110, SCAT C-35, etc).

These heads are a good choice if you are building a mild engine with a non-stock cam, since you would need to buy new HD Springs and Chromoly Retainers, removing the stock stuff. Why pay for stuff you are going to take off an not use? Use these instead, they have that already! Big Valve Heads can only be successfully used with engines that have 1 1/2" or larger exhaust systems, which also means the stock heater boxes can NOT be kept! If you use stock heater boxes or 1 3/8" exhaust your engine will be difficult to tune, and will run much hotter from exhaust back pressure holding heat in the heads!
