This solves 2 problems, the first is the linkage arrangement is smooth and bulletproof (no more cable rubbing!). This linkage works WITH the stock throttle cable (and location). Budget kits move the cable to the carb, and this is a horrible angle (wears out the carb and the cable).

Your second advantage with this kit is the exhaust preheat goes to the carb base, the more heat the better and smoother your centermount will run! The more common "Budget" Intake kits have flow that ONLY goes along the lower main intake tube, while our kit routes this exhaust heat to the carburetor base.

If you have a centermount Weber IDF or Dellorto DRLA carburetor, you can immensely help the MPG, performance, and drivability by substituting this intake for the (most likely) "economy" (IE: CHEAP) intake that came with it!

This is the best Centermount IDF/DRLA intake manifold you can buy, and works for 36-48mm models.
