Dellorto DRLA Idle Jets, 7644 are ITALIAN MADE DELLORTO JETS. We do not carry Chinese reproductions (which do not flow properly!). These Dellorto jets have been flow tested at the factory. Be careful on jet sizing, Dellorto jets are sized DIFFERENTLY than aftermarket jets, using a close but different numbering system!

Jets are rated on flow not size, after they are measured on a flow machine. That's why drilling and reaming jets is not necessarily a good idea, since drilling or reaming can result in a 55 idle flowing more than a 60 idle, based on orifice length and entry/exit radius, etc.

We are aware that we are a little more expensive than other supplier of Dellorto DRLA jets, but here is why you should use Aircooled.Net. First, we only sell ITALIAN MADE DELLORTO JETS. Secondly, we will tell you the correct jet sizes to minimize your jet expense, and your valuable time tuning! Other shops that aren't proficient at Dellorto Tuning will be happy to sell you jets at $4 ea, and you'll wind up with 6 sizes (24 jets) that you don't need! That makes no sense!

By buying from us you will not spend more than you have to, our experience will keep your costs down, while providing the highest quality parts.

With that out of the way, we recommend the following DELLORTO idle jet sizes for sea level driving for dual DRLAs. If you are using chinese jets the actual size used will be smaller by 3-4, since they are sized differently than genuine Dellorto Jets. 36 DRLAs = 52-54. 40 DRLAs = 54-58 45 DRLAs = 57-60 48 DRLAs = 59-64 Drop the size "1" for every 1k' rise above sea level. So if you have 40 DRLAs in Denver (5k'), you'd need ~50-54, but the same carbs at sea level would use 54-58. Despite what you have read in "other" places, these sizes will result in the best running (cool) and stellar MPG. Use the main circuit for your power tuning! Read our tuning guide for further tuning tips, you'll save a fortune by buying the jets you need ONCE without guesswork!

With Webers a jet is "sized" in Millimeters. A "50" idle jet is .5mm. But Dellorto didn't do that, they used a numbering system that confuses you (and us), by making the #s they use CLOSE to the actual size. This table will clarify the Dellorto Sizing.

  • 40 is a jet with a 0.38mm hole
  • 41 is a jet with a 0.39mm hole
  • 42 is a jet with a 0.40mm hole
  • 43 is a jet with a 0.41mm hole
  • 45 is a jet with a 0.43mm hole
  • 46 is a jet with a 0.44mm hole
  • 47 is a jet with a 0.45mm hole
  • 50 is a jet with a 0.47mm hole
  • 53 is a jet with a 0.49mm hole
  • 55 is a jet with a 0.51mm hole
  • 57 is a jet with a 0.53mm hole
  • 59 is a jet with a 0.55mm hole
  • 60 is a jet with a 0.56mm hole
  • 62 is a jet with a 0.58mm hole
  • 63 is a jet with a 0.59mm hole
  • 65 is a jet with a 0.61mm hole
