Our ability to respond to emails is greatly hampered by being under-staffed during this downsize transition time. But we continue to endeavor to answer email inquiries as best we can. 5.158" 4340 Forged Chromoly H-Beam Connecting Rods, ARP Rod Bolts, 2.0L Journals w/24mm Pin, Balanced, Set of 4, 004-5158H-ARP begin as new Chrome Moly forgings instead of used stock rod cores. Stock 2.0L Rods are horrible, they are 2x as heavy as they should be! These rods are far stronger and lighter! These connecting rods have a slim big end for stroker use, minimizing your expense and elbow grease required for installation!

These come in matching sets of 4, and are already balanced overall and end to end. We have used these over 8k RPMs and have not yet had a failure with them!

Now if you want to build a 78mm stroker, here's one way to go. Since this rod is clearanced on the big end, it will fit a 78mm stroke in the stock case without clearancing! However, you'll need to shim the cylinder .130", we do this with a head gasket on top, AND a cylinder base shim (Combined to total ~.130"). This way the stock push rod tubes still work fine.
